The Florida Philharmonic is set to dazzle audiences with a unique event this season as the orchestra performs a special arrangement of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 4. This performance promises to be a remarkable interpretation of Mahler’s work adapted to bring out the nuances and intimacy of a chamber orchestra. This is a must-see event for music lovers as it offers a rare opportunity to hear a beloved symphony in a new light, promising an afternoon of profound musical exploration and enjoyment.

Featuring a special guest Soprano Yejin Lee a rapidly emerging as a compelling Lyric coloratura artist, acclaimed by Opera News for her “robust coloratura soprano” and hailed by Brooklyn Discovery for “quicksilver brilliance and outstanding theatrical bravura.” Her growing repertoire encompasses Gilda, Zdenka, Susanna, Pamina, Adele, Oscar, Naiad, Zerlina, and Gretel, among others, spanning core lyric-coloratura roles. A prizewinner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Florida District, Lee has earned top awards from Opera Connecticut, NATS Eastern Region, and New York Lyric Opera Theatre, with appearances as finalist or honoree in multiple national competitions. She made her Carnegie Hall debut at Weill Recital Hall and has been featured at WQXR, Merkin Hall, Lakes Area Music Festival and Festival Napa Valley.
